Same procedure as every year! With my husband and a bunch of friends we flew to Mallorca for two weeks during August. I tried to resume all the cool stuff we did and created a little travel guide. As you may have noticed, I didn’t hide it at all and I was pretty proud of it, back in Oktober I won the Kachen Blog Award for best food blog, main sponsor. Of course when you are nominated for an award, you hope to win it, but I never thought that I would actually win that thing. I remember talking to my friend during the ceremony, when they introduced the award for best food blog, main sponsor which was Cactus, all my hopes to win where already dead. I was more concearned of my pregnant friend with her high heels how she even managed to stand with those shoes, when I heard my name. I looked on the screen and saw a picture of myself. I won that thing! I remember walking on stage with the biggest smile. I will never forget that moment!

Last week I quit my job! The circumstances of such a big decision as to change your employer put you under pressure so the little weekend trip to Breskens in the Droomparken Schoneveld in Breskens, Netherlands was luckily timed perfectly. We had a 4 person cube apartment with a little garden and located very close to the beach which was lovely and our friends stayed in a luxe 4 person cube, with a larger living room and kitchen. But for a short stay I recommend the small chalet. Some of these apartments accept animals and we took the opportunity to bring all our dogs.
Equipped with our Kubb game, a traditional swedish wooden lawn game, and cool beers, we headed to the beach with the dog squad and had a great afternoon. No need for Cesar Milan, these dogs where exemplary.
