What do you think about infused water? I find it very refreshing and it’s a great way to drink more water. I mean water is quite boring but if you pimp it with fruit and vegetables you can make healthy cocktails in just a few minutes. SodaStream sent me recently their Sodastream Spirit machine to test it and I have to say that it’s a real plus in my kitchen. Since I have the SodaStream Spirit I produced much less plastic waste in my household. That is the main positive aspect for me. And of course the sparkling water made of simple tap water tastes just like regular sparkling water. You can choose the intensity of the sparkling effect by pushing more or less on the button of the machine. Personally I prefer lightly sparkling water. Simple water can be a bit monotone that is why I developed 4 infused detox water recipes and here they are:

Antioxidant – Strawberry, Orange & Grenade Detox Water

  • 1,5 l of sparkling water
  • 1 small grenade
  • 2 oranges cut in slices
  • 10 strawberries (I used frozen strawberries because it’s winter)

Good For Your Skin – Cucumber & Celery Detox Water

  • 1,5 l of sparkling water
  • 10 cucumber slices cut in half
  • 1 stalk of celery cut in slices

Good For Your Digestion – Apricot & Basil Detox Water

  • 1,5 l of sparkling water
  • 8 apricots cut in half
  • 15 basil leaves

Anti-Flu – Ginger Detox Water

  • 1,5l of sparkling water
  • 20 slices of ginger
  • add a dash of grenadine
